Chocolate pi Bakery Boutique out of Tampa is seeking to purchase a 1300 square foot building in downtown Brooksville in order to open up another location. The property is located at 110 S. Saxon Ave. Owner of Chocolate pi, Kim Yelvington states, “Chocolate pi will offer a nostalgic variety of pies, cookies, ice cream and hand crafted coffee drinks… as well as specialty gift items...”

Pies will be sold by the slice and the store will also feature a soda fountain for “crafted sodas made in house.”

The current owner of the property, George W. Rogers applied to rezone the half acre property from R-2 (Medium Density Residential) to C-2 (Highway Commercial).

On June 5, 2017 the Brooksville City Council approved the rezoning.
