Cookin' with Julie's Child



Well, summer is here and it is sooo hot. Do you need a refreshing drink, something nice and cool? This week’s recipe is lemonade. It’s so easy, even my five year old sister can make it!



Ingredients

1 1\2 lemons, juiced
8 cups water
3\4 cup sugar (more or less based on preference)
10-20 Mint leaves- optional

Directions

Take a pitcher and pour 8 cups of water into the pitcher. Next pour your lemon juice into your pitcher of water. Slowly stir in the sugar until it’s dissolved. Don’t forget to add in your mint leaves. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to bring it to a nice cold temperature (or just add ice). Lastly enjoy!!!!!
