Desmond Lamont Sanders

(May 14, 1972 to May 10, 2015)
Desmond Sanders' formative years were spent in Hernando County. He graduated from Hernando High School in 1991. He was quite active in football, baseball, wrestling and track. He was a self-employed truck driver who traveled throughout the southeastern states. Desmond loved life and enjoyed it to the highest. He also had a big heart and contagious smile. He stayed in touch with family and friends through “FACEBOOK”.

James "Jim" Edmond Stanina

(October 8, 1948 - May 13, 2015) On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, after a brief illness, James Edmond (Jim) Stanina passed away amid the love and support of his wife, Victoria Conklin and family. Jim was born in New York City on October 8, 1948 and grew up in New Jersey. He became a resident of Hernando County in 1978 and devoted his life to his family, his career as a banker, and to his community. Jim is survived by his wife, Victoria Conklin, his son Matthew Stanina and wife Alicia; and his daughter Alyson and husband Erick Truong.

Horace Bonds

(March 4, 1927 - May 9, 2015)

BONDS, HORACE, 88,Spring Hill, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Spring Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brooksville, Florida. He was born in Atlanta, GA to Homer and Effie Bonds, on March 4, 1927. He served in the armed forces, was a Mason, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service and moved to Spring Hill, FL from St. Albany, New York. He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Lillie Bonds.

Grace Klein

(April 25, 1925 - May 1, 2015) Grace Elizabeth Klein, who just days ago celebrated her 90th birthday, passed quietly away after a short illness. Originally from Binghamton, New York, she married Robert Malarkey, her high school sweetheart, right after high school. She played the violin in high school and in her early twenties, she played for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. In 1957, she met her husband, Ward (Bud) Fuller and made Syracuse New York their home. Having been a successful business woman for many years, she retired early to spend quality time with Bud until his passing.
