Raymond (Ray) W. Rosen Sr., 62, of Weeki Wachee, Florida and formerly Galion, Ohio, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
Ray was born on March 19, 1955 to Robert Estep also of Weeki Wachee, Florida, and the late Gwendolyn (Steward) Estep.
He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, a proud American, an avid Harley rider, a golf enthusiast, and a talented artist. Recently, Ray was canteen manager at the American Legion Chapter 186 and a valued member of the American Legion Riders.
In addition to his father, Ray is survived by his two sons, Shawn and Christina Rosen of Gahanna, Ohio, and Eric Rosen of Weeki Wachee, Florida; his three grandchildren, Dakota Rosen, Cheyenne Rosen, and Kolton Rosen all of Gahanna, Ohio; many cherished members of the Rosen and Salisbury families, and numerous friends and fellow riders.
In addition to his mother, Ray was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Salisbury) Rosen; son, Raymond Rosen Jr.; and sisters, Sharlene Mullins, and Karen (Estep) Johnson.
Burial will be held at 12:45 pm on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida. Graveside service will be conducted by American Legion Chapter 186 Chaplain. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps.
