SPRING HILL, FL – April 9, 2018 – Bayfront Health Spring Hill has appointed Michael Irvin as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 8, 2018.
“I have enjoyed learning about Bayfront Health highly qualified physicians, employees and volunteers and look forward to working with the Spring Hill team to advance medical care for the community,” Irvin said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to support their dedication to providing high quality care for patients in Hernando and Pasco counties.”
Irvin was previously Chief Operating Officer of Merit Health Wesley, a 211-bed hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. During his time there, he contributed to hospital’s achievement of being ranked as one of the top 10 facilities within Community Health Systems network of hospitals for patient satisfaction scores for the past 3 quarters. He also supported efforts to reach employee satisfaction scores among the highest in the organization. Michael was previously Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Medical Center Enterprise, Enterprise, Alabama where one of his primary responsibilities was physician recruitment and alignment.

Irvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Studies and a Master of Business Administration from Webber International University at Babson Park, Florida. Michael, his wife Meredith and their 6 year old twin sons are looking forward to returning to Florida.
