Wild about Florida Class

This new adult series is designed to introduce residents who have recently relocated to Florida and Floridians who want to know more about state wildlife to the ins and outs of living with the diversity of wildlife in Florida. Learn to identify wildlife, how agencies manage for wildlife, where to view wildlife and how to deal with nuisance wildlife at home. This is a four-class series and includes lots of helpful reference materials. Class #1 Orientation to Florida natural areas, wildlife agencies and where to view wildlife. Includes information on various locations statewide and references for figuring out when and where to view some of Florida’s unique wildlife. Instruction on wildlife in the wrong places and how homeowners can limit negative interactions with wildlife. $25 per person enrollment (fee covers all classes and reference materials). Chinsegut Not a Clue Adventure

Chinsegut Conservation Center is excited to announce a new family fun program brought to the Center by Not-A-Clue Adventures. Our Family “Campfire” Cookout is a great way to spend time with the kids this summer, learn about cooking tools and recipes for outdoor meals and more. This program is recommended for ages 8+, requires pre-registration and a fee of $10 per person. This program will give participants opportunities to experiment with some delectable easy outdoor meals. Register through NotAClueAdventures.com. After dinner stay and watch the sunset and take a guided twilight stroll.
