Mandi Mohr, the 2017-2018 Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High Valedictorian is also a talented soccer player. During the 2017-2018 season, she racked up 39 goals, 75 shots on goal, 22 assists. She scored an average of 1.7 goals per game and took about 4.7 shots per game. She scored 54% of the total number of Bishop McLaughlin’s goals.
Her outstanding performance in the classroom and on the soccer field earned her a spot on the United Soccer Coaches’ 2017-2018 Scholar All-American Soccer Team for boys and girls. Eighty-three students nationwide received the honor: 28 boys and 55 girls. Of them, Mohr is the only student from Florida.
Mohr, who is currently attending The University of Chicago and is a National Merit Commended Scholar also was named to the 2017-2018 High School Girls Winter All Region Team for the United Soccer Coaches.
