(Brooksville, FL) The Withlacoochee River has been steadily rising in association with heavy rainfall over the past several weeks. Currently, the river is in action stage at both the Croom and Trilby gauge locations. Additional rainfall over the next few days may have an impact on the potential for minor flooding; however, the total amount that the river will rise remains somewhat uncertain. It is imperative that residents living near the river stay informed of current conditions and be prepared to act to protect personal property.
