Date of incident: December 5, 2018
Hernando County Fire Rescue (HCFR) units were dispatched to Sand Hill Scout Reservation located at 11210 Cortez Blvd in Spring Hill early yesterday morning for reports of a structure fire. Flames and heavy smoke were already through the roof and the structure was partially collapsed upon arrival of the first engine company at 7:59am.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
HCFR responded to the scene with 2 Battalion Chiefs, 2 Engines, 2 Rescues, 1 Ladder Truck, 2 Water Tenders, and 1 Brush Truck.
