UPDATE
On 12-29-18 at 6:38 p.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an Agency Assist at the Florida Highway Patrol substation located at 17028 Ayers Road, in Brooksville.
Roberto Rivera-Santiago, H/M DOB/09-26-1974, a suspect in the 12-27-18 shooting at Mermaids Lounge, 4658 Commercial Way, in Spring Hill, had turned himself in to Troopers on an active Hernando County warrant for Attempted Murder and a Domestic Injunction Violation.
Santiago was transported to the Hernando County Detention Center where he’s being detained in lieu of a $250,000 bond for the Attempted Murder charge and No Bond status on the Domestic Injunction Violation.
The victim in the case remains hospitalized, but is listed in stable condition.
