USF Commit has a Stellar night throwing a complete 7in shut out vs. tough Bishop McLaughlin. Jack threw 79p recording 12k, 0w, 5h with lot swing and misses. Very efficient pounding the zone.
March 27, 2019- Varsity Baseball beats Bishop McLaughlin 4 – 0

March 30- Softball- Lady Leopards Defeat Opponents Combined Score of 31-1
The Lady Leopard softball team defeated Ponte Vedra (5-1), Westminster Christian (1-0), Bolles (15-0) and Forest (10-0) to win the Doc-4-Life Softball Tournament held at Belleview High School. Westminster Christian were state champions last year in 4A. The Lady Leopards improved to 16-1 on the season. They travel to play Nature Coast on April 4th with first pitch scheduled for 7 PM.
March 30- Softball- Lady Leopards win tournament going undefeated and beating Bolles 15-0 and Forest 10-0 at Belleview HS.
March 29- Softball- Leopards claw host Springstead Eagles 11-1 improving to 9-4 on the season. Leopards host Central April 2nd at 7 PM.

March 29- Leopards Mercy Run Hornets 12-2
The Leopard baseball team defeated Weeki Wachee Hornets 12-2 at Hernando High School. Hernando improved their record to 8-4. The Leopards will travel to county rival Springstead High School to take on the Eagles today, March 29th with the first pitch scheduled for 7 PM.

March 29- Lady Leopards Clip the Eagles 3-0
The Lady Leopard softball team defeated county rival Springstead High School 3-0 at Tom Varn Park. The Lady Leopards were led by senior pitcher Ali Shenefield, who tossed a two-hitter striking out 14. Freshmen Solo Genberg led at the plate collecting two of the teams five hits. Sophomore Olivia Townsend knocked in two RBI’s and senior Nakayla Roberts knocked in another RBI as the Lady Leopards improved to 12-1 on the season.

March 27- Leopards go 2-1 in Farm Bureau Classic
The Hernando baseball team went 2-1 in the Farm Bureau Classic over spring break. The Leopards defeated Citrus 5-4 and River Ridge 10-5. Their loss came against state power Bishop McLaughlin by a score of 4-0. The Leopards return to action on Thursday, March 28th versus Weeki Wachee High School with first pitch scheduled for 7 PM at Hernando High School. By Mark Lee on Mar 27, 2019

March 27- Lady Leopards Finish 2nd in Leopard Slam
The Hernando softball team finished second in one of the top softball tournaments in the Tampa area. After beating East Bay 12-1, Palmetto, 15-0 and Steinbrenner 9-1, the Lady Leopards fell to Sickles High School 2-0 suffering their first loss of the season in the championship game. Two of the top programs in the region made it a great championship game with Sickles scoring their two runs in the third inning. The Lady Leopards had their chances but left seven runners on base. The Lady Leopards are now 10-1 on the season.
