Spec house to help fund Nature Coast Builders Association

One of the houses featured in the 2019 Nature Coast Builders Association (NCBA) Parade of Homes is a spec house built by NCBA. The sale of this home will help to fund the Nature Coast Builders Association.

The spec house was built by members of the association and some non-members under the management of Joe Mazzucco of Royal Coachman Homes. Pro-Line Tile donated the tile for the home, while the cabinets were donated by Cabinets Etc. Many of the other contributors donated time or provided a discount on their services.

These donations of time and materials were particularly commendable, as this year the construction industry has been exceptionally busy. The construction industry was heavily impacted by the downturn in the late 2000s. Many people left the industry to pursue other careers and the remaining artisans have been extremely busy with the recent construction increase. The craftsmen could have spent this time on paying work, but they volunteered their time, many working on weekends to help the Nature Coast Builders Association.

The spec home is located at 14 Greentree Street in Sugar Mill Woods. The home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also has a three and a half car garage. There are 1943 square feet of air conditioned space with an open floor plan and 10 foot ceilings. It is pre wired for a pool. The home is a custom design by Par Drafting. The house has natural stone accents. It is move in ready with a sprinkler system and lawn. It has all appliances except washer and dryer.

This is the second spec house that the Nature Coast Builders Association has constructed. Some of the proceeds from the last spec house were used to purchase the lot on which this spec house was built. If you are interested in purchasing the house, you can contact the Nature Coast Builders Association at 352-596-1114.
