The Hernando County Public Library System invites the public to attend its free live International Jazz Day Celebration on Tuesday, April 30 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Spring Hill Branch Library located at 9220 Spring Hill Drive. Musicians from the Hernando Jazz Society will perform in this cultural event open to all ages.

The Friends of the Library of Hernando County, FL, Inc. are dedicated to advocacy and fund-raising for the library. Profits from the sale of used books at the Little Red Schoolhouse Bookstore and other fundraisers support of library programs. In the past five years, the Friends have contributed over $84,000 to the library.
