• Deputies responded to:
o Missing/Endangered Juvenile – Hazelwood Drive/Brooksville – Habitual Runaway – Active investigation.
o Death Investigation – 16076 Bradenton Street/Brooksville – Probable Suicide – Male/36 YOA.
o Vehicle Burglary and Loitering and Prowling – Western Way Plaza/Cortez Boulevard – Male got into a vehicle and was rummaging around until confronted by the owner – He was then looking into other vehicles – Arrest/Male.
o Vehicle Burglary – 5250 Tanner Road/Spring Hill – Firearm taken from unlocked vehicle sometime since February.
o Shoplifting – Walmart/Cortez Boulevard – Female stole $135 worth of groceries – ICE detainer placed as she is in US illegally – Arrest/Female.
o Armed Robbery to Person – Winn Dixie Plaza/Mariner/Northcliffe – Active investigation.
o Warrant Service – 1215 Gatewood Avenue/Spring Hill – Arrest/Female.
o Traffic Stop – 2279 Rio Circle/Spring Hill – Arrest/Male – Possession of Methamphetamine and DWLSR.
o Sex Offense – Spring Hill – Active investigation.
o Commercial Burglary – Sexy Creations/Broad Street/Brooksville – Someone broke in and stole two blow-up dolls and several outfits – Active investigation.
o Irrational Person – Marker 48/Cortez Boulevard/Brooksville – Person acting strange in the establishment – Had marijuana wax on his person – Arrest/Male.
o Illegal Narcotics/Suspicious Persons – Gretna Water Facility – Male and female in a vehicle – Deputies located 28 grams of methamphetamine/1 gram crystal methamphetamine, 26 grams hashish, and leafy marijuana – Arrest x2 Male and Female.
o Commercial Burglary Follow-Up – Deputies arrested two groups of people responsible for two separate Commercial Burglaries that occurred at the (now closed) Palace Grand. One male was also charged with Impersonating a LEO.
• Schools:
o Hernando High – Battery.
o Central High – Battery.
o West Hernando Middle – Child Abuse – Occurred elsewhere – Reported at the school Active investigation.
• Miscellaneous:
o A total of 11 drug arrests were made over the weekend.
