LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS 5/2/19

• Deputies responded to:
o Verbal Disturbance – Brooksville Square Plaza/Near Dickies BBQ/Brooksville – The owner of a local business followed a female to this location and confronted her about a counterfeit $100 bill that she had just passed at his business – Arrest/Female – Active Investigation.
o Retail Theft – Publix/Brooksville Square – A male and female walked out of the store with $340 worth of groceries – Deputies caught the male and arrested him – he also had an active warrant for his arrest – Warrant forthcoming for the female.
o Traffic Stop – Cortez Boulevard/Mobley Road/Brooksville – Driver had ID card only from Romania – Driver admitted to being in US illegally – Arrest/Male – Detained for ICE.

• Schools:
o Winding Waters K-8 – Suspicious Incident – Occurred on the school bus.
o Moton Elementary – Student fled the campus – Located and returned.
o Parrott Middle School – Marijuana cigarette on campus.
o Fox Chapel Middle – Baker Act.

• Miscellaneous:
o All ROAR Camps are full at this time.
o SWAT training today – Various locations throughout the county.
