One year later, Tidal Brewing Company has more brews on their menu, and a full house to celebrate.
At their grand opening, one year ago, Dave and Maxine Peitzman outfitted their brewhouse to serve beer lovers of pilsners to porters. They’ve been successful.
On the day before Cinco de Mayo, no one is drinking tequila at Tidal. On this date, Tidal Brewing Company celebrates one year of great beer, brewed entirely on-site. Tidal began with 12 brews a year ago. Today, their menu has expanded to 16. They also offer sangria and Pinot Grigio.
When asked about changes in the past year, co-owner Maxine Peitzman said, “We’ve had a lot of changes in our staff, but I think we have the most well-rounded group right now, and it’s been wonderful. It’s their second home, and they provide a great experience for the customers.”
“We’ve been busy, but … it’s been good!” She said, adding “It’s been good getting to know our customers. We share a beer with them, share thoughts with them.”
Co-owner David Pietzman added, “It’s a lot of word of mouth. We get a lot of people from Tampa.”
It was standing room only when a local band of brew-mates, The Hops covered The Traveling Wilbury’s “Handle with Care” and Tom Petty’s “Breakdown.”
We look forward to their 2nd Anniversary.
