The following holiday closures will occur on May 27, 2019, in observance of Memorial Day:
• All Hernando County Government offices
• Library Services
• TheBus
Normal business hours will resume for these offices/services on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 with the exception of the Spring Hill Branch Library, located at 9220 Spring Hill Drive. This library branch location will resume normal business hours on June 5, 2019, due to scheduled maintenance.
Hernando County Animal Shelter:
Animal Services will be closed on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
Hernando County Solid Waste facilities:
The West Hernando and East Hernando Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be closed Monday, May 27, 2019, as normal. The Main Landfill, located at 14450 Landfill Road in Brooksville, will remain open and Republic Services will be providing trash, recycling, and yard waste collection services as normal.
