“It’s truly amazing to work behind the scenes of such a large event. Being able to hand pack school supplies for local classrooms knowing the impact it will have on the children’s education, makes this event all worth it. United Way has proudly hosted this event in our community for the past 13 years. We are so thankful to live in such a giving community that knows what it takes to LIVE UNITED and make a difference for Hernando’s youth,” said United Way’s Executive Director/CEO Angela B. Walasek.
Thank you to United Way’s Partners in Education, Oak Hill Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Care Center for sponsoring Stuff the Bus T-Shirts, and Chocachatti Elementary School for allowing United Way to use their cafeteria space to sort and organize teacher Wish Lists in time for the new 2019-2020 school year.
