Fatal Hernando County Crash 11/01/19

Stanley C Rockett, Jr. a 78-year-old male from Brooksville, FL was driving a 2015 Kia Soul southbound on Brookridge Boulevard in the outside lane when for reasons unknown the vehicle departed the roadway and entered the outside shoulder. It then traveled through several private yards before colliding with a palm tree and overturning. The vehicle then came to a final rest in the yard of 15711 Brookridge Boulevard. Mr. Rockett was then transported to an area hospital and later expired from injuries sustained during the crash. Alcohol did not seem to be a factor in the accident.
