Brooksville, FL April 6, 2020) Mid Florida Community Services, Inc., is excited to announce that their Senior Services Program was chosen to receive a Community Fund Grant from the Rays Baseball Foundation and the Rowdies Soccer Fund.
The Rays Baseball Foundation and the Rowdies Soccer Fund selected Mid Florida Community Services, Inc’s. (MFCS), Senior Services Program to receive the Community Fund Grant because of the work the program does to serve our most vulnerable populations, especially as it relates to COVID-19.
The Senior Services Program plans to use these funds to offset the cost of providing in-home services to needy seniors enrolled in the program. Senior Services Director Steve Homan “thanks the Tampa Bay Rays and the Rowdies for their generosity in providing us with this grant to support our efforts to serve the seniors in our communities!”
MFCS CEO Michael Georgini said, “As a human services organization, we have a continued commitment to the service of our clients during this crisis.
