Dear Friends,
Greetings from Live Oak Theatre! We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to give you an update on the status of our season.
As you know, Florida’s Stay at Home Act has required us to suspend all Live Oak Theatre productions, rehearsals and Conservatory classes at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Arts until at least the end of April 2020.
Since our Rehearsal process came to a screeching halt in mid March, our cast, tech crews and production team will need at least 3 weeks of prep & rehearsal time to get 80 Days back up and running again once the quarantine is lifted.
With that in mind, we regret to inform you that we will be unable to open 80 Days on May 1 and are taking a “wait and see” approach before we reschedule 80 Days and Live Oak Goes to the Movies.
We will be carefully monitoring the Covid-19 situation and plan to reschedule and finish out our current production season as soon as restrictions are lifted and we are comfortably able to make that call.
We’ll keep you posted!
In the meantime, check out our FB page for clips of past productions and possibly some live “remote” entertainment!
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we navigate these strange times. This is unchartered territory for all of us. Please keep us in your prayers.
We love you and look forward to seeing you all in the near future! Stay safe and be well!
Sincerely;
Randi Olsen
