TAMPA- When you’re one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, it helps to have a famous parent get you the hook up for workouts. That hook up in this case is Hall of Famer Deion Sanders’ son, Shedeur, getting to workout with Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady.
Last weekend, the two met up in Tampa, FL to workout together and they appeared to form a strong bond once the workout concluded. Shedeur Sanders is a senior quarterback who plays at Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas and is the 34th ranked player in the state, according to 247Sports.
Sanders has fielded quite a few Division I offers from some of the biggest schools throughout the country including his father’s alma mater Florida State University, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oregon and Tennessee. Over 25 colleges have offered Sanders and many more are sure to follow suit.
There’s plenty of work to be done for Brady and the Buccaneers’ offense as they look to include former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski to the mix as well. ‘Gronk’ announced he would be returning to play football this off-season with none other than Brady and the new look Buccaneers.
Gronkowski rounds out an impressive tight end room with fellow tight ends OJ Howard and Cameron Brate. Arguably Brady has his best set of receivers since the 2007 season when he had Randy Moss and Wes Welker in their primes. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin form a talented wide receiving corps to boot.
