At 4:17 PM on 9/20/20 a 45-year-old male from Port Richey Florida driving a pick up truck (vehicle 1) was traveling southbound in the center lane of US-19 approaching Pepper Street. A second pick up truck driven by a 76-year-old male from Holiday (vehicle 2) and a 81-year-old male from Homosassa, driving a sedan (vehicle 3) were stationary in the center lane and inside lane of US-19 respectively due to a red traffic signal at the intersection of Pepper Street. Vehicle 1 failed to slow or stop for other traffic and first collided with vehicle 2 and then vehicle 3.  Post-impact, vehicle 1 overturned and came to final rest within the intersection. The other two vehicles came to rest in the west grass shoulder of US-19 and the intersection, again, respectively. The 45-year-old driver who failed to slow or stop suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash was not wearing a seat belt.  The 76 year old male from Holiday suffered serious injuries at the scene. The 81 year old male from Homossasa had minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.
