A 90-year-old male from Spring Hill, driving a sedan with 2 elderly passengers was traveling westbound on County Line Road. A second vehicle, a 21-year-old male also from Spring Hill and also driving a sedan was traveling eastbound. At the intersection of Grand Club Drive, the 90-year-old attempted a U-Turn into the path of the second vehicle. As a result, the front of the second vehicle collided with the passenger side of the first vehicle. Post-impact, both vehicles rotated to final rest along the south shoulder of the roadway. Transported to area hospitals, the 90-year-old driver and the rear seat passenger, an 82-year-old female from Spring Hill, later expired from injuries sustained during the crash. The front seat female passenger, in the first vehicle, aged 95 years, from Spring Hill suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. The 21-year-old driver suffered minor injuries. All in the first vehicle were wearing their seat belts.
