A 37-year-old Spring Hill man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with an SUV at the intersection of US 19 and Bolton Avenue last week.
Sgt Steve Gaskins, public affairs (PIO) officer for the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that around midnight on June 10, a 20-year-old Hudson man driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee and his 22-year-old male passenger also from Hudson were traveling southbound in the inside turn lane of US 19 approaching the intersection of Bolton Ave. The motorcyclist from Spring Hill was traveling northbound on US 19.
The vehicles collided at the intersection when the driver of the SUV turned left into the path of the motorcycle.
Both drivers died at the scene, Gaskins said.
The passenger in the SUV died June 11 from injuries he suffered in the incident.
