In a release just moments ago by the Hernando County Sheriff’s department the female shot this morning has died from her injuries.
According to the report the suspect and victim were related.
The victim, not being identified due to Marsy’s Law, was in surgery when she died.
The suspect, identified as Stanley Johns (W/M DOB 11-13-48) was charged with Murder in the First Degree/Premeditated/Domestic. Â He is currently in custody, held on a no-bond status.
