A Spring Hill teen was seriously injured in a collision with a sedan driven by another man from Spring Hill.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Public Information Officer (PIO) Sgt. Steve Gaskins, just before 6:30 a.m on Oct. 11, a 38-year-old Spring Hill man was driving a sedan northbound on Bentley Avenue south of Henderson Street. A 17-year-old male pedestrian also from Spring Hill was walking northbound in an illuminated travel lane of Bentley Avenue to a nearby bus stop when the sedan collided with him.
The teen sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment, Gaskins said.
The driver was uninjured, he said.
