As per their motto, the Spring Hill Central Rotary works to change lives in their community. On Dec. 10, the Rotary will ring in the holidays in grand style; And with a mission to spread cheer and sunshine throughout the community and beyond. The Rotary Club of Spring Hill Central will host a Holiday Bingo Fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 10, from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Masaryktown Community Center, 539 Lincoln Ave., Masaryktown. “This is our first Holiday Bingo, this event exemplifies the international Rotary motto of ‘Service Above Self’,” said Carol A. Sitroon, President of Rotary Club of Spring Hill Central.
Indeed, this single festive event is set to benefit a myriad of community projects with a reach extending throughout the Florida region as well as to the community. These include but are not limited to Hernando County Splash Park for children with all abilities, Human Trafficking, Alzheimer’s Research, Dictionaries for all Hernando County Third Graders, help to alleviate hunger in Hernando County in partnership with People Helping People, the Rotary Garden project and New Beginnings Youth Shelter, the PHSC food bank for children in need, and Camp Florida, a Rotarian funded camp for children with special needs.
And as guests help the Rotary help countless people in Hernando and beyond, they’ll enjoy a fun evening of Bingo with colorful Dauber, dinner, gift basket drawings, a photo booth, hot cocoa and cider, and more fun activities. Santa Claus himself will be making a grand appearance at this event, which will feature a decorated tree. “This will be a place for meeting friends, a feel-good event in a warm atmosphere,” said Sitroon.
Indeed, as guests at the Holiday Bingo Fundraiser enjoy good times with friends in the process, they’ll be making a difference in the lives of so many others. “When you give money, it helps us raise money for so many causes.
