The new Chief Executive Officer at Bravera Health Brooksville and Spring Hill is wrapping up his first week on the job. Joshua DeTillio was selected for the post in November and brings more than 18 years of executive-level leadership in Florida hospitals.
Since 2018, DeTillio has been CEO of Palms West Hospital, a 204-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. During his tenure, the hospital saw significant growth in clinical services, including general, colorectal, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and robotic surgeries, deliveries and neonatal intensive care, recruiting numerous new physician specialists, and achieving strong physician engagement.
“Josh’s experience makes him the right fit to lead Bravera Health Brooksville and Spring Hill,” said Janine Kell, Chair of the Board of Trustees for Bravera Health Brooksville and Spring Hill. “He has demonstrated an ability to engage with physicians and employees to create a culture of quality and safety. With his leadership and the skills of our provider team, we will continue building on our strengths in service to our community.”
DeTillio has successfully built highly effective leadership teams and developed a culture of teamwork and accountability in the hospitals he has led. In addition to his experience leading high-performing teams, his service as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army has given him a deep understanding of, and commitment to, servant leadership that supports employee satisfaction and engagement.
