A Spring Hill teen is dead after he lost control of the sedan he was driving near Pinehurst and Spring Hill drives in Spring Hill.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 an 18-year-old man from Spring Hill was driving a sedan eastbound on Spring Hill Drive west of Pinehurst Drive when he lost control of the vehicle.
As a result, the car crossed the median and westbound lanes of the roadway and entered the north shoulder when it collided with a tree and a utility pole.
The teen driver was transported to an area hospital where he later died from injuries that he sustained in the crash.
