Weeki Wachee Springs is known as the home of the mermaids. But on Saturday, March 26, dinosaurs of all kinds are taking over and making the springs their home! This is because the park is hosting its inaugural movie night featuring the 1993 family-favorite Jurassic Park (PG-13).
Weeki Fresh Water Adventures is hosting this first-ever movie night in Weeki Wachee history. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7, and are available online: https://weekiwachee.com/special-events/. Ages 0-2 are admitted free.
Full concessions will be available. There will be popcorn, cotton candy, sodas, movie treats. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets; stadium seating is also available. Prohibited items include outside food/drinks, coolers, alcohol and tents. Weeki Freshwater Adventures has obtained required licensing to show Jurassic Park (1993) for this public showing.
Concessions Manager at Weeki Wachee, Mily Llanos, stated, “This is our first Movie Night at Weeki Wachee. If it does well, we’re planning one for every month. This is a good time for the family. All ages are welcome.”
