2 Suspects in custody after Synovus Bank robbery

Today’s bank robbery, the second this week, ended with two suspects being caught on U.S. 41.
According to Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) – Public Information Officer (PIO) Michael Terry, “The suspects fled south on 41 were stopped and arrested.” Terry also said these suspects could be tied into the Cadence bank robbery at Barclay and Powell.

According to HCSO’s Facebook video taken at the scene, “At least one of the suspects is believed to be involved in the bank robbery that occurred on 04-12-2022 at Cadence Bank in Brooksville”
