Investigators from the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) continue to probe a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded.
The HCSO said that at 12:40 p.m. on May 1 deputies responded to a call about a shooting on Jodi West Drive in Dade City in Hernando County.
The subsequent investigation revealed that two men were shot after becoming involved in a domestic confrontation.
One of the men died at the scene. The other man was wounded and transported to an area trauma center for treatment.

He is expected to make a full recovery according to a May 3 statement from the HCSO.
The investigation into the incident is continuing, the HCSO statement said.
