The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is asking the public to keep an eye out for an elderly Brooksville woman who was reported missing by her family.
Joan Kaloustian, 76, was last seen by visiting family members at her residence in the Highpoint subdivision in Brooksville at about 4 p.m. on July 17. She remained at her residence when they left to go home. Their last contact with Kaloustian was at 8 p.m., on July 17 when they spoke to her on the landline at her residence.
According to the HCSO, the missing woman left her residence sometime after 8 p.m., on July 17 and before 5 p.m., on July 20, and may be driving a white 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, with the Florida handicapped license tag JX37U. She does not have a cell phone with her.
Kaloustian has been diagnosed with dementia. It is unknown whether she has any of her prescription medication with her.
Joan Kaloustian is described as a white, 5’7” about 145 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who has seen Kaloustian, or who knows her current whereabouts, should call 9-1-1 or the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office at 352-754-6830. Callers outside Hernando County, should contact their local law enforcement agency.
