The annual Glory Days Burger Bowl match-up between rivals Hernando High and Springstead resulted in a win for the Eagles on Friday night Oct. 7, 2022. It could have been a blowout for now 1-6 Hernando, but they fought hard, managing to put ten points on the board. Yet the Eagles (now 7-0) held the edge and outscored the Leopards by 14 points for a final score of 24-10.
Hernando has another challenging game ahead when they go up against South Sumter (7-0) on Friday night, 10/14 in a non-district match in Bushnell.
Springstead will take on undefeated Land O’Lakes (6-0) at home on 10/14. Kickoff is at 7:30 pm
