On November 11th, the Nature Coast Tech varsity football team was defeated by Hudson 34-21 in their home playoff game. Hudson started the scoring with a first-quarter touchdown but could not convert the extra point. Nature Coast Tech answered in the second quarter with a touchdown of their own and made the extra point. Nature Coast led going into halftime.
The third quarter was when Hudson took over the game. They scored 22 unanswered points. Entering the fourth quarter, the score was 28 to 7. Nature Coast outscored Hudson in the final quarter 14 to 6, but it was not enough for the win.
Nature Coast Tech ended the season with a record of 7-4. Hudson faced a formidable South Sumter Team in the regional semi-final on Nov. 18, losing 49-14.
