National Wreaths Across America Day – December 17, 2022

“Each December, on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.”

Deployed on 12-17-22 to Bay Pines National Veterans Cemetery for Wreaths Across America, US Air Force Hernando County Composite Squadron Chaplain Corps CDI Major Vernie Robbins, giving the Invocation and serving as Master of Ceremonies. Pinellas County Sheriff Office provided the Color Guard. Guest Speaker was retired Air Force Colonel Greiger. 500 volunteers placed wreaths on 6000 graves to honor and remember their lives. To teach future generations that freedom comes at a cost. Other members of the Hernando Composite Squadron deployed to the Bushnell National Veterans Cemetery for Wreaths. Across America. Annually, Wreaths Across America ceremonies are conducted around the world with the Navy conducting the services at the seven seas.
