Hernando County artisans, crafters, and businesspeople now have the opportunity to “C” a new open-air marketplace for their goods and services! The Local Market at C’s is happening the first Sunday of each month, 1-4 pm at C’s Panini & Spirits, 12570 Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill. Participating vendors are now being sought for the market’s April 2nd session.
“So we are looking for any type of small business vendor- whether it be a craft, homemade items/snacks, a service (house cleaning, doctor, etc.), or even a nonprofit- to come set up a tent and gain a customer base and sell their items,” explained market organizer Samantha Kay of Spring Hill.
Kay and her co-organizers intended the Local Market at C’s to be both a market and a marketing tool for area creatives and businesspeople.
“We encourage everyone and their talents! We started this market to help small businesses in the area gain more of a customer base and get their name out there,” said Kay. “It helps everyone succeed, and that’s all we want.”
Kay credits the market’s host business with their support of the venture and all of those who participate. “The owners and staff at C’s Panini & Spirits (where the market is held) are very supportive of the small businesses in the area!” she said.
The vendor fee for C’s, which debuted last fall, is $20 for a 10×10 spot. Popular items up for offer generally include candles, jewelry, clothing, foods and treats, soaps, crafts, pet foods and goods, sewing, fine art, art designs, and much more. Guests also can enjoy a live DJ, food and drinks, and a full liquor bar inside. And this event is pet friendly.
A social media group has been formed for those who wish to participate in the Market at C’s.
“We are super excited to have all of you!” said Kay. “We have a Facebook group called “Local Market at C’s Vendors.” They should find and join that group. It has all the vendor info there.”
