Storylines:
Last year, the Leopards were in year one under Head Coach John Scargle. When breaking in an all-new coaching staff, the first season can have rough patches. That was the case for Hernando, as they managed only three wins. The Purple and Gold are looking to improve their pass protection, tackling, and secondary play coming into this season, and that would certainly help if they are reaching for a winning record or more. With a tough schedule upcoming, the Leopards are going to need leaders to step up and new stars to emerge. If Capel III hits the 2000-yard mark this season, as his head coach hopes, that could go a long way in helping the Leopards have a solid season.
