County residents who need permits to carry out hurricane-related property repairs may apply for emergency permits beginning at 7 am on August 31. The permit application forms may be found on the main Hernando County website and on the County’s Building Department website.
On the websites, residents will find emergency building permit applications and requests for electric meters for both owners and contractors. Applications must be completed and notarized, if necessary. To submit completed forms, send an email to [email protected] Hernando County Storm Guidelines are also posted on the websites.
