DeSantis adds King to the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court

Gov. Ron DeSantis has named Brad King to serve as Judge on the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court in Lake County. He fills the position vacated by Judge Richard Singletary, who retired earlier this year after having reached the Florida judicial mandatory retirement age of 75. Before his judicial appointment, King served as the State Attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit from 1989 to 2020. A resident of Ocala, King earned both his bachelor’s degree and his juris doctor from the University of Florida.
