A medical emergency caused the single-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a driver from Spring Hill.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Sgt. Steve Gaskins said that shortly after 8 a.m. on Oct. 28, a Dodge Promaster van driven by a 29-year-old man from Spring Hill was traveling west on Bosley Drive when, south of Nandy Lane, the man sustained a medical emergency that caused him to lose control of his vehicle.
As a result, the van left the roadway and collided with fencing that belonged to two different homeowners.
The man was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
