Joy and excitement filled the air as Hernando Soccer Club, families, and the local community came together at Anderson Snow Sports Complex for opening day festivities on Nov. 4, 2023. Also in attendance were Sheriff Al Nienhuis and Fire Chief Paul Hasenmeier, as well as many sponsors showing incredible support for the growing youth soccer program that has been in the area for 35 years.
Gratefulness to the parents and community was expressed, with Sheriff Nienhuis offering encouragement to the players to stay involved in sports activities to keep them out of trouble.
The massive event was buzzing with games, bounce houses, food trucks, raffles, a blood drive, a DJ, and even a dunk tank. There was no shortage of fun activities for the whole family.
