On Saturday, Dec. 23, Tyrone Goodson Youth and Sports Programs Inc. distributed 40 new bicycles as well as lots of toys and gifts to the youth of the Brooksville community at the South Brooksville Community Center. Hernando County Sheriff’s Office COPPS deputies met up with Tyrone Goodson, founder of the nonprofit organization to assist in the bike giveaway event.
The bike giveaway was limited to one bicycle per family and the child had to be present to receive a bike.
Goodson commented, “Merry Christmas. Thank you Sergeant Matt Lillibridge of Hernando County Sheriff’s Office for coming out and volunteering your time along with the deputies.”
