Crash Claims Brooksville Motorcyclist

A Brooksville man has died after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a tree. Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Sgt. Steve Gaskins said that around 5 p.m. on Feb. 21, a 33-year-old Brooksville man was operating a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Mondon Hill Road. East of Soult Road, he lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and striking a tree. The Brooksville man sustained fatal injuries at the scene, Gaskins said.
