The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) unanimously approved the rezoning of 3 parcels, formerly AG (Agricultural) to PDP(REC) / Planned Development Project (Recreation) with deviations. The applicant, Tim Oldemoppen of AGAP Spring Hill Land LLC, intends to construct a 241-unit Recreation Vehicle (RV) resort to include a clubhouse, sports courts, playground, bathhouses, restrooms and guest parking.
This project does not include long-term park model homes or other permanent residential structures. Maximum occupancy is not to exceed 180 days per RV.
The parcels totaling 35.63 acres are located on the west side of Commercial Way, south of Lake in the Woods Drive and north of Brandy Drive. One access point will connect to a frontage road from the southbound side of Commercial Way.
