Okay, so this Monday has been a weird day so far! I had planned on getting a story into the editor that was going to be based on local political events. I first found a site where Ms. Ann Vandersteele had an article telling about the Supreme Court deciding the big case of Democrat (run) states looking to keep our 45th President off of the voting ballots. Her (Ms. Vandersteele) story was telling it like it is, in the fact that if those Democratic states won the right to keep Pres. Trump off of their ballots, then many other “left-leaning” states would certainly follow suit. If that were to happen, our system of government would go to a single-party governing system, and we would never again have a chance at two-party politics! As I started looking for the most current information (on the SCOTUS vote), I came across this story done (for AOL News) out of the ABC networks. The writer was Isabella Murray (with contributions from Devin Dwyer) titled, “What happens after historic Supreme Court ruling, that states can’t ban Trump from ballot.” (YES, this was the news that I was hoping to hear)! Their (SCOTUS) ruling basically stated that those state officials had no such authority to make that decision based on section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Former Pres. Trump quickly fired off a “Tweet” saying that the ruling by (SCOTUS) was a “BIG WIN FOR AMERICA!” Now, I had planned on waiting to submit this story to the paper until the results from “Super Tuesday” elections were in, but we all know that (former) President Trump is going to sweep the boards anyhow.
It is very hard to keep my emotions from putting to text what I would REALLY LIKE TO SAY concerning what the other side is trying to do regarding stopping the votes (and voters) for Donald Trump. These past few years since the “hijacking” of the 2020 elections have been an education on just how dirty and sleazy the D.N.C., “Big Media,” and powerful associations like the C.I.A., and the F.B.I. have been, by buffaloing the “sheep-like” public into thinking that all is good in their neighborhoods (and that “M.A.G.A. is evil)! It really pains me to think that the majority of the “left” is so asleep at the wheel that they are hard pressed to even tell you who the Vice President is right now, (Kamala Harris). It is my hope (and fervent desire) that those of us who are “awake and aware” will school those around us in our groups of family and friends who are still in a “self-inflicted” state of foggy non-awareness. This battle for the life of our country is of the worst nature, being that almost half of this country is unaware that we are even in trouble!
This fact alone should tell all of us that our motherland needs us now more than ever. The communist and Socialist factions are counting on us to be too “soft” and timid by not seeing this time in our country as an authentic emergency.
One more note of interest before I finish: If you wonder why I go on like this, it is because I do not take what we have for granted. What we have (here in America) is special, and a lot of precious blood has been spilled all around the world on our behalf. I think that everybody who claims to be a patriotic American should visit the Arlington Cemetery (in Washington, D.C.) and watch the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We have a job to do, and none of us are too old or feeble to say, “We are done doing our part” for her. I DO NOT want to be part of the generation that tells our youth, “I remember when She was free”! Y’all have a safe and blessed week!
