The 2024 Hernando Parade of Homes reached new levels of success and popularity this year, with an unprecedented number of builders offering more beautiful homes, which could be seen and enjoyed either in person or online–a winning formula that is ‘building’ plenty of excitement for both event organizers and the public.
Sunrise Propane and the Hernando Builders Association presented the 2024 Hernando Parade of Homes February 23 – March 10, 2024. “This year’s event was a great success,” said Halie Eaton, Chairwoman of Parade of Homes and co-owner of PROBUILTU.S. “We had more companies participating, more models, more options, more styles of building.”
And, according to information compiled by Eaton and Nita Beckwith-Melaugh, CEO of Hernando Builders Association, more people in attendance, ready to find their dream homes. “We saw so many people and groups of people coming through, the majority on the weekends. At my builder’s models, we welcomed many guests,” said Eaton. “People ready to build.”
Eaton remarked that this heightened level of enthusiasm did much to ‘build’ hopes about the state of the 2024 home market. “The building of a home is a big decision, and our builders were on hand to guide them, to answer their questions, to guide them to the next step in finding their dream home, including arranging financing,” said Eaton. “This positive response has raised builders’ hopes about the strength and promise of this year’s home market.”
Guests also seemed to enjoy the variety of residential styles and accents found throughout the models presented at this year’s Parade of Homes. “People embraced the styles of these models,” said Eaton. “They especially seemed to favor the farmhouse style.”
Guests also enjoyed the variety and flexibility inherent in Parade of Homes options, both in terms of the model floor plans up for offer and the diverse options available for seeing and enjoying these homes. The Parade homes range from 1300 to 4100 square feet in size and are available at a wide range of prices. While the majority of models are three-bedroom, two-bathroom, builders can customize their floor plans according to customer demand.
The options available for showing and seeing Parade homes also expanded this year. This year’s Parade of Homes route included 11 brick-and-mortar models throughout Brooksville and Spring Hill and five virtual models.
“People work different schedules,” said Eaton.”Through our online models, they can see model photos, videos and floor plans, and read home specifications at their own pace.”
