The Salesmen of the Green New Deal, Part II

One of the most serious problems with having the Green New Deal infect the United States are the many federal agencies, un-elected bureaucrats and regulations involved in conforming the American economy to its image. With more of these agencies and other related overhead comes a larger federal budget and greater spending. With greater spending comes more debt and more inflation. The more debt and inflation, the poorer the country, and the more its sovereignty is undermined. It is understood by many of the country’s friends, as well as its enemies, that “The borrower is slave to the lender.” It is time for you, the reader, to understand it as well. The same principle applies to the individual and the nation alike.

If you as an individual make $2,000 a week for a six-month period of time, but spend an equivalent of $2,200 each week over the same period of time, you will be $4,800 poorer than you were at the beginning of the six-month period, despite having “made” $48,000. In contrast, if an individual makes $200 per week over a six-month period of time, and saves an average of $50 dollars per $200 figure, he might have made only $4,800, yet will be $1,200 more wealthy than at the beginning of the six-month time period. The $4,800 loss on the part of the one making $48,000, added to the $1,200 gain on the part of the one who made $4,800, equals a $6,000 differential between the two individuals- in favor of the one who made far less money.

Likewise, the true problem with the country now is not a revenue problem. It is a spending problem.
The fundamental position of far too many political figures and society at large has been one of economic and population expansion, largely government-engineered, to the detriment of economic independence and financial solvency. This government-engineered expansion exists for the purpose of re-arranging and rigging society according to the central planners’ greed and Marxist ideology. This makes the country poorer, weaker, and a slave to a foreign adversary- China, while shrouding the objective in spurious economic growth.

This is accomplished in large part by increasing the federal budget and deficit spending. This added spending necessitates finding and adding willing recipients. The need to find and add these recipients is the reason for the insistence on high population levels and immigration, both legal and illegal. The Marxist work to change society and the government, including the justice system, is made possible by expanding the population, particularly through the foreign-born and their offspring. The greater the population, the more poverty there will be and the greater the call for government spending. The greater and more diverse the population, the greater the division and the resulting call for further “change” to the “system.” This call for further change is, in reality, a call for the government to take the place of God. This added population is also one of the chief ways of implementing this change because it represents the supply needed to elevate to power those who do not understand and embrace American values.

It is important to understand that in any civilized, first-world country, including the United States, there is only room for so many people before both the level of poverty, the demand on the nation’s resources, and conflicting interests increase drastically. These circumstances are created intentionally because the best chances for a Marxist revolution to succeed are in an environment of elevated and sustained tension. Therefore, those who are truly interested in conserving the environment and the nation’s resources will not want to greatly and suddenly add to its population.

In contrast, with fewer people in the country who are more resourceful and good stewards of the land and environment, the nation is far better off because, though each person may not have as much total income, the wealth and resources of the country will be made, saved and divided among fewer people.
Therefore, one of the areas to be changed by those who want to solve the spending problem is the population, reducing it from where it presently is rather than increasing it by importing more people, either legally or illegally.

Presently, there are about 40 million illegal aliens in the country. You might be surprised to know that roughly 25 percent of the federal prison system’s population are illegal aliens, not American citizens! Removing them from the prison system and removing the 40 million illegal aliens from the country will go a long way to clean it up and restore its cultural and financial viability. Another answer is the expansion of the death penalty to include drug smugglers, rapists, those who are involved in derailing a speeding train carrying potentially toxic chemicals, and those who deliberately run over a bicyclist or pedestrian with their car.

The strength of a nation does not primarily lie in its diversity and inclusiveness. In reality, the things that are strong, solvent and the most special are, by definition, exclusive. Therefore, the desire for the United States to be the “shining city on a hill” is demonstrated by the work to remove and keep out the vast majority of the world, who would only serve to put out its light. Likewise, from the standpoint of potential immigrants, the respect for a nation as ‘a shining city on a hill’ is not demonstrated by those who want to come to the light to reap its benefits. It is demonstrated instead by those who see the light from afar and want to bear it themselves, bringing hope and peace to their own nation.
