In an ongoing investigation that began on February 26, 2024, Hernando County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Alexander Esquivel (DOB: July 15, 1961) on four counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device. His bond was set at $2,000.
The detectives received information about the possession of child pornography, and identified Esquivel as a possible suspect. A search warrant was obtained for Esquivel’s online accounts, authorized by Judge Eineman, and the search revealed four files of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
On June 7, 2024, detectives visited Esquivel’s residence at 4112 Ramona Drive, Spring Hill. During the interview, Esquivel admitted to owning the social media account and possessing the CSAM files.
